ShimBi Labs: Year Ahead

As promised in my New Year message, here I am to discuss the road ahead for ShimBi Labs.

Before moving ahead here are some updates, as we finished FY 2011-12, it's time to take a pause and reflect on year passed by and then think about the year ahead and beyond. Last year we learnt many new things on the business side as well as on the technology front. Year 2011, start was slow due to Tohoku Earthquake followed by Nuclear Disaster in Japan, but towards the end of FY 2011-12 we saw rapid growth in business from Japan. On the other side, we also saw customer base growing in home market, India. Continue business from Europe was another good thing. Over all business was balanced and we saw some healthy growth. This is encouraging.

FY 2012-13 will be year focusing on some emerging Asian market such as Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines and Malaysia, along with already developed Hongkong and Singapore.

To make sure we remained focused, We at ShimBi Labs decided to revise and simplify our product lines and offerings. This will allow us to refocus ourselves in developing innovative products with superb

user-experience.

We are simplifying our products line to 4 products and 4 services.

Product line will include CMS Budo, ShimBi Cart and 2 more innovative products, which we are working up on.

Services includes Mobile Apps., Web Apps., Social Networking Apps. and Web Hosting.

In coming days, I will announce in details about these products & services, in mean time, please check our updated websites shimbilabs.com and shimbicms.com.

On the other hand, there are few challenges to address. The most important is hiring new talents with the right attitude, which is most important for our long term success. Other task includes scaling up

our infrastructure and streamline admin side operations. One more task is building dynamic Business Development team, at present we all are engineers and wish to remain focused on our core talents.

This year is also a very special for us. We will be celebrating very special date 12-6-12. This year we will be completing our 7 years as ShimBi Labs. This give us opportunity to celebrate and share our

experience with you. From 2012, we will be celebrating our annual day as a public event, please do join us.

Discontinuation of ShimBi CMS 3.0

After the successful release, of ShimBi CMS Budo 4.2, its time to say good bye to our briefly successful CMS version 3.0.

Version 3.0 will no longer be on sale, but we will continue to support our client who are using this version till June 2012.

The new version Shimbi CMS (Budo 4.2) have great features and stable frame work. We encourage all our existing client to consider upgrading from an old version to new.

Happy New Year!

As we enter the year 2012, I wish you and your family a very happy and a prosperous new year.

First of all, thank you for choosing ShimBi Labs as your IT Solutions partner. Your valuable feedbacks and supports have constantly been our biggest inspiration and encouragement to design products and services to give you a superb user-experiences.

Let me take this opportunity to share some of our accomplishments in 2011.

ShimBi Labs completed number of web applications, mobile applications and other turnkey solutions.
Release of much awaited new version of ShimBi CMS (Version 4.0); we call this new version as ShimBi CMS Budo! ShimBi CMS Budo is amazingly Simple, Powerful yet most Affordable CMS around. It will empower end users to take complete control of their website.
Our hosting business ASK4Host is growing as anticipated in year 2011 also; we introduced several new Hosting options, responding to our customers demands.

I am pleased to inform you that after some delay, a new version of ShimBi Cart (2.0) is now ready and will be available by February 2012.

We at ShimBi Labs also decided to revise and simplify our product lines and offerings. This will allow us to re-focus ourselves in developing innovative products with superb user-experience.
