Did Your Website Suddenly Disappear From Google Search? Your Not Alone!

In 2012, Matt Cutts, the head of the Google webspam team, posted a video. In this video, he suggests that the phrase SEO should stand for ‘Search Experience Optimization’ instead of ‘Search Engine Optimization’. This is so true when more and more people are searching and surfing websites on mobile.

So it necessary for all business to take a serious look at their websites and consider converting it into mobile friendly and responsive design version. There are many CMS such as CMS Budo will help you seamlessly without investing a lot of money.

Note that Google's mobile friendly update algorithm does not impact desktop and tablet searches and only applies to individual pages, not entire websites.

According to Google Webmaster Central Blog, “While the mobile-friendly change is important, we still use a variety of signals to rank search results”. But it also means your website must be optimized for all devices and not only for mobiles.

To quickly check if your website is optimized, run the Mobile-Friendly Test. You can also read the Mobile Usability report in Webmaster Tools. The Google Webmaster Central Blog also has a FAQ section.
