We are happy to announce Shimbi MyBilling 2.2

In this version of MyBilling, we took yet another step ahead in making things simple for MyBilling users. First, we renamed "Email Alerts" module to "Email Templates." Then we simplified this module for inserting "placeholder" in email templates.

Shimbi MyBilling now allows you to send personalized email alerts to your customers. Human touch is always appreciated.

Email Templates are a collection of pre-designed email messages that system sent as an alert on specific events. For example, an email alert is sent when new a new customer account, estimate, and invoice is created.

Placeholder in the email templates holds valuable dynamic information, which will pull actual value from the database. For example, you can have Invoice No, Amount and Payment due date posted directly in email body for customer reference.

To make use of a placeholder in your text, just position the cursor at the location where you want the value of the placeholder to be shown and click on the placeholder.

It's that simple!
