It is heartbreaking to see the situation in India due to the second wave of Covid-19. This wave devastated many lives. People are clueless and wandering around for primary medical care, oxygen, and medicines. Hospital beds are in shortage. 

Everyone at Shimbi Labs is thinking and wondering, how can we make a difference in a difficult time like this? Each of us doing what we can do in an individual capacity, but together we decided to do something with what we have - technical know-how.

So over the weekend, we brainstorm with our customers in healthcare emergency services, Urge Care, and together decided to build a Covid-19 Hospital Bed Availability Dashboard. 

This dashboard will provide the current status of bed availability for Covid-19 patients who needs to hospitalize. Initially, they will cover Pune city, expanding it to other towns and areas in India.

This is a tiny step on our part, but we believe every small step and every small help to save a life is a significant achievement because every life matters.
